i saw this video of Sunni Patterson a while back when i first discovered Def Poetry Jam via youtube because i didn't have HBO....and i liked it, but for some reason i've just now looked at her other videos. her voice sounds hundreds of years old in a very strong and comforting way that drags you into whatever point she is trying to make. i love it.
